Walls Torres Group (WTG) is a certified MBE/WBE (Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise) with the State of New Jersey.

Daria Walls Torres founded WTG in 2004 and serves as the firm's Managing Partner. She is an experienced business adviser and a highly sought-after university lecturer.

Her depth of experience in strategy and operations management enables her to help clients formulate strategic plans, negotiate joint ventures, evaluate potential investments, develop sales and marketing strategies, solve technology problems and build leadership capacity.

In addition to leading WTG, Daria has served as an adjunct faculty member at the Rutgers University School of Business at Camden (2004-2014), and the Leadership and Communications programs at The Wharton School of Business since 2007. For both schools she has designed and instructed core MBA, executive MBA and undergraduate courses, including Leadership and Communication in Groups, Management Science, Operations Management, Managerial Skills, Advanced Persuasion, and Crisis Management.

Prior to forming WTG, Daria was an Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Company, a world-renowned leader in the management consulting field. There, she developed an information technology plan that generated more than $60 million in revenue growth and nearly $20 million in cost savings for a pair of New York-area academic medical centers. She also helped a global energy services provider strengthen its organizational design and strategic plan, resulting in its formation of a conglomerate in South America. Her professional background also includes employment with the defense contractor Lockheed Martin Communication Systems, where she held Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance.

Daria earned a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia (double major in Economics), a Master's in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania (specialization in Telecommunications), and an MBA in Operations and Information Management from The Wharton School. Both her undergraduate and postgraduate studies were fully funded by merit scholarships and she is a lifetime member of Mensa International.

Daria lives in southern New Jersey and participates actively in her community and church, including service as board member for the University of Virginia IDEA Fund, and previously, the Holland Scholars Program and the Camden Dream Center. She also Chairs the Board of Giving Cycle, an innovative experiential philanthropy program for middle school students. As a lifetime member of the National Black MBA Association and the National Society of Black Engineers, she has mentored budding professionals in both engineering and business through these affiliations. Her spirit of social responsibility was spawned during her youth, while participating actively as a long-term member of the Girl Scouts; and her commitment to servant leadership was reinforced by her selection as a Coca-Cola Scholar and as a Regional Finalist for the White House Fellows Program. When not consulting, lecturing or volunteering her time, she enjoys investing time in her family.
